Green Product Certification

The Green Clean Institute now moves toward twenty years as a truly independent, third-party training and certification organization. Our Federal Trademark is a well-known brand, and stands for a long history of promotion of Eco-Safe, Green, and Sustainable services.

We decided years ago not to service just the high-end products, but to keep the door open to the good, Green products that are coming into the cleaning services market. Our $1500 fee is not a “Pay for Play” fee as seen elsewhere. We set a standard called “Truth in Labeling” that adopted the stance of a consumer who does not have the time to conduct a “Due Diligence” review of products they might buy.

We all know that advertising claims can be outrageous or carefully crafted to make something sound better than it actually is. Our campaign for “Truth in Labeling” is a much needed antidote to the overt lies and wild boasts of advertisers.

When any product displays the GCI Green product certification seal, there has been a honest, third-party review of the ingredients and claims made by the manufacturer. Consumers can rely on the GCI Green certified product as more than an average product that has been over-hyped to convince customers to buy. We feel that the appeal of any product is GCI Green product certified is something to promote as a true endorsement.

As a training and certification organization, the Green Clean Institute does not sell any products or share in the profits of a product sales. We offer a serious and reliable Green product certification that consumers can trust.
