A Premium Service:
Offer the GHBP building certification
The GHBP certification uses the on-hand resources of the cleaning service to create a pathway to a Green building certification offered by the Green Clean Institute. This is an “Earned, not Bought” certification that is affordable, practical, and literally improves the present and future health of employees.
Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) includes ventilation, Toxic gas (fumes), bacteria and viruses, mold spores, allergens and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), which are from chemical cleaning products, pesticides, paint, glue, polishes, equipment vapors, particulate, heavy metals, floor strippers and finishes, and so much more. Over the years, these toxins will cause something called “Sick Building Syndrome”.
Unlike LEED or other Green building certifications, the Green Clean Institute makes this certification program available through our many GCI Green Cleaning Firm. By using the GHBP checklist, any building can gradually modify their building maintenance program to earn enough points to earn the GHBP certification. Then, improve your score year after year. It’s efficient, effective, and affordable. More so when you compare other Green building certifications costing $10,000 to $100,000 but only deal with the building materials.
